Bill Frank Temple, who passed away at the age of 90, lived a rich life as an educator, traveler, woodworker, and devoted family man based in Abilene, Texas. He spent 31 years teaching sixth grade at a local elementary school and, in retirement, pursued farming, woodworking, and stained-glass artistry. Among those he leaves behind is a sister-in-law who resides in Carrollton, Texas, connecting his story to our city. Temple and his wife traveled to all 50 states and more than 25 countries together over the course of their 66-year marriage, a testament to a life lived with curiosity and love. [1]
