Amrut Coming to Brambleton: Biryani Grill Owners Launch Bold Dual-Concept Indian Restaurant

Brambleton's South Asian dining scene is about to add a standout new address. The Biryani Grill ownership group is bringing a new dual-concept Indian restaurant called Amrut to Brambleton Corner Plaza, and it signals a meaningful step forward for Indian food in Northern Virginia's Ashburn corridor.
🍛 Amrut: A Dual-Concept Indian Restaurant Coming to Brambleton Corner Plaza
A new Indian restaurant is arriving at Brambleton Corner Plaza, and it is unlike anything the Ashburn and Brambleton dining scene has seen before. Amrut is coming to the intersection of Northstar Boulevard and Evergreen Mills Road, with signage going up at the site in December 2025. The concept is the work of the same ownership group behind Biryani Grill, which already operates locations in South Riding and Ashburn. Rather than open a third Biryani Grill outlet so close to those existing spots, the team decided to launch something entirely new under a different name.
The result is Amrut, which will occupy approximately 5,700 square feet and operate as two distinct dining experiences under one roof. On the full-service side, the restaurant will seat around 130 diners and offer a full bar alongside an ambitious menu. Dishes include Bang Bang Gobi, Baby Corn Pepper Fry, Gun Powder Prawns, Naga Chicken Wings, Mughlai Chicken Curry, and Nihari Lamb Shanks — a lineup that spans North Indian Mughal traditions, South Indian preparations, and contemporary Indian cooking. A separate fast-casual counter-service section will seat 30 to 40 guests for quicker meals.
The dual-format approach gives Amrut built-in flexibility across different dining occasions and signals a maturing Indian food scene in Northern Virginia's rapidly growing Ashburn corridor.
