The Telangana High Court declined to grant an interim stay on the sale of around 300 acres of land in Hyderabad's Kukatpally locality, where alleged irregularities in land transactions had been raised by petitioners. While the court refused to halt the transactions immediately, it stipulated that any sale or transfer of the disputed land would remain subject to the final outcome of the pending writ petition. Hyderabad's Task Force police from the Charminar unit arrested two individuals found to be in possession of 2.4 kg of marijuana at Bhavani Nagar.
