In two constituencies — Malakpet and Yakutpura — the number of deleted voter entries even surpasses the total votes polled during those elections. Across all 15 Hyderabad constituencies, the preliminary analysis records 19,41,444 electoral-roll deletions, amounting to 46.1 per cent of the January 2023 electoral roll. In the remaining 13 constituencies, deletions amount to at least 70 per cent of votes polled in 2023. Of the entries removed, 52.2 per cent belonged to male electors and 47.8 per cent to female electors, with 165 third-gender electors also deleted. The Sabar Institute flagged the male majority among deletions as unusual for a revision exercise of this kind, noting that women formed a majority of deletions in only two of the fifteen constituencies.
