Telangana Congress Leaders Call for Dedicated Delhi Trains Ahead of INDIA Bloc Rally

Hyderabad – On October 28, senior figures of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) gathered outside the South Central Railway headquarters to press for special trains to Delhi. The protest, led by TPCC President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud, was joined by a slate of state ministers, legislators and Members of Parliament.
The demonstrators argued that a dedicated rail service is essential for Congress members and supporters traveling to the national rally scheduled for November 1, where the INDIA bloc – a coalition of opposition parties – plans a high‑profile gathering in the capital. Organisers anticipate a large turnout from across the country, and the Telangana contingent wants logistical assurance to ensure smooth participation.
By staging a vocal protest at the railway hub, the party aims to highlight the logistical challenges faced by opposition groups in mobilising supporters for nationwide events. The demand underscores the broader political dynamics ahead of the rally, where coordination among regional units will be crucial.
The call for special trains reflects the Congress’s effort to secure practical support from government agencies, while also signalling to its base that it is actively working to facilitate their involvement in a key moment for the opposition alliance.
