🛕 Raghunath Temple — Temples in Jammu

Raghunath Temple in Jammu is one of the largest temple complexes in north India, built by Maharaja Gulab Singh and his son Maharaja Ranbir Singh between 1853 and 1860. The complex features seven shrines, each topped by its own shikhara tower, with the central shrine dedicated to Lord Ram as the presiding deity. Interior walls of the main shrine are lined with gold sheets, and the complex also houses a gallery of lingams and saligrams as well as a library of rare Sanskrit manuscripts.
