Selection Panel Narrows Down CEO Candidates for Ram Janmabhoomi Temple after Massive Applicant Pool

Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh (ANI) – The committee tasked with appointing the inaugural Chief Executive Officer of the newly‑building Ram Janmabhoomi Temple has turned in its concluding report. After sifting through more than 5,000 applications, the panel has shortlisted a handful of candidates it deems qualified to steer the temple’s administrative and operational launch.
The shortlist, presented on Tuesday, reflects the committee’s effort to find a leader who can balance religious sensitivities, heritage preservation, and modern management practices. The final decision on who will assume the CEO role is expected to be announced on Wednesday.
For the global Desi community, the appointment is a key step in institutionalising the temple project, which carries deep cultural and spiritual significance for Hindus worldwide. A seasoned CEO will oversee everything from pilgrim services to financial stewardship, ensuring the site’s development aligns with both traditional values and contemporary governance standards. The outcome will set the tone for how the temple functions as a focal point of religious tourism and community engagement in the years ahead.
