🛕 Jain Society of Metropolitan Chicago — Temples in Chicago

The Jain Society of Metropolitan Chicago (JSMC), founded in 1970, is a nonprofit organization serving approximately 1,800 member families and home to the first major Jain Temple in North America, built in 1992 on a 15.4-acre property in Bartlett, Illinois. JSMC provides daily religious services including darshan, puja, and evening aarti, alongside a Pathshala educational program, community rental spaces, a food court, and a medical clinic. The society is a member of the Federation of Jain Associations in North America (JAINA).
