🏛️ Houston Area Temple Gets a New Name Rooted in Its Community
A Latter-day Saint temple originally announced as the Houston Texas South Temple has been officially renamed the Fort Bend Texas Temple, reflecting the county in which it will be constructed. The renaming marks a meaningful local identity shift for what will be the Houston area's second temple. An exterior rendering of the white-spired structure has been released, giving members a first look at the planned house of worship.
