Indian Ambassador Tours Romania to Boost Ties with Key Regions

NEW DELHI – In a concerted push to deepen India‑Romania relations, Ambassador Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohapatra embarked on a multi‑city outreach program across Romania this week. The diplomatic itinerary spanned the Danube‑bordering Tulcea County, the historic port of Sulina, the Cernavodă nuclear hub, and several north‑central towns including Dej, Câmpia Turzii, Turda, the medieval citadel of Sighișoara, and the university city of Cluj‑Napoca.

During the visits, the ambassador met local authorities, business leaders, and cultural representatives to discuss avenues for collaboration in trade, energy, education and tourism.
