YSRCP Calls for CBI Probe as DSC Aspirants March Across Andhra Pradesh

On Monday, organizers affiliated with the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and candidates for the state’s Direct School Admission (DSC) program staged simultaneous rallies in several towns of Andhra Pradesh. The demonstrations were convened at the direction of party president and former chief minister Y. S. Jagan Moh Reddy, who urged a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into alleged irregularities surrounding recent DSC recruitments.

Participants gathered in public squares and near government offices, chanting slogans and holding placards that called for transparency and accountability in the admission process. While the YSRCP framed the protests as a demand for justice for disadvantaged students, the DSC aspirants voiced concerns that the selection had been compromised by favoritism.
