June feels like a season of fresh starts for our Desi Naperville community, and this month's directory additions say it all. As summer settles in, the calendar ahead is anything but quiet. The month closes beautifully with a Bhajan Sandhya on June 30 at the Chinmaya Abhyudaya Retreat Center in Willowbrook — a perfect evening of devotional music to ease into the summer spirit. Then July opens with a full slate of meaningful gatherings: the Vayuputra in Windy City event on July 11 brings a Hanuman Havan and Mela to the DuPage County Fairgrounds, promising the kind of joyful, community-wide energy that stays with you.
The following weekend, Chinmaya Mission Chicago – Badri hosts the Navikaran Samaroh on July 12 — an auspicious new beginning by name and by spirit. The very next day, the Annual Children's Summer Camp: Grow to be Great opens at the Chinmaya Abhyudaya Retreat Center, giving our youngest community members a summer rooted in values and growth. 🙏 And rounding out the month beautifully, Guru Poornima Celebrations return to the Retreat Center on July 29 — a cherished occasion to honor the teachers who shape our lives.
